FUNDRAISING

Throughout the school year we have many fundrasing events to raise funds for school. Details are published in the weekly school newsletter.

 

Recently, family-run and B-Corp certified brand Micro Scooters have very kindly donated some scooter accessory bundles to the school. Including helmets, lunch bags, bottles and plushie snap band buddies, they will make brilliant raffle prizes - perfect for giving your scooter, bike or trike a glow-up!

 

SCHOOL LOTTERY

We organise a monthly school lottery and sign up information is available from the school office. It is £5.50 per month and there is a first, second and third prize. The prize money is 50% of the membership fee taken that month. The remaining 50% goes to the school to help fund 'Sense of Adventure' activities throughout the year.

PTFA AND CHARITABLE LINKS

Our school is proud to have links with a number of local charitable initiatives and we regularly support national events, including:

  • British Legion - Remembrance Day
  • Comic Relief and Sport Relief
  • Aquabox
  • Wirksworth Well Dressing
  • Matlock Jigsaw Food bank
  • Cancer Research, with the Cluster of Gell Schools (CoGS) group

Our PTFA is voluntary group made up of parents, carers, teachers, staff and friends of the school who work together to organise fun events for the children and raise money for our school. 

There are lots of different ways you can help - running a stall, sending in donations and even eating cake!
